INHABIT – Artist-in-Residence

About the Open Call

INHABIT invites artists to spend four months creating new work, or further developing an existing project, in a scientific research environment. The residency encourages interdisciplinary collaboration between artistic and scientific fields. Residents have access to the institute's library, sound studio, and scientific facilities, and receive curatorial support. Work developed during the residency will be presented in cooperation with local arts institutions in the form of an exhibition, performance, concert, or other format.

What is Offered

Artist’s fee of 8.000 Euro, accommodation fee of 2.000 Euro, production budget, travel costs to and in Frankfurt, collaboration with scientists, access to institute facilities, and curatorial support.

How to Apply

Applications must be uploaded through the online portal and must include a CV, artist statement (max. 500 words), project description outlining connections to the Institute (max. 500 words), and a portfolio (max. 20 pages).
