About the Open Call

aqb's International Artist-in-Residence program provides a fully furnished room and studio space for a duration of 1 to 3 months between October 1, 2026, and July 31, 2027. The program aims to integrate residents into the local Budapest art scene, offering professional networking, lecture opportunities, and potential mediation for local exhibition opportunities. The facility includes two communal apartments with shared amenities and studios with 24/7 access.

What is Offered

Fully furnished room in a communal apartment, dedicated studio space, assistance with local professional integration, and potential networking with Hungarian curators.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of English, open-mindedness, and good communication skills.
