About the Open Call

The International Bad Video Art Festival invites submissions for its ninth edition in November 2026. Seeking videos that are at the intersection of bad art, bad painting, and bad cinema, specifically those that are technically poor, lack specific content, or exploit camp/trash/B-movie aesthetics. Submissions must be between 1 and 8 minutes long. No animation, porn, home movies, or works by individuals under 18 accepted.

Public screening of selected works.

Requirements

Submission is limited to 1 video per artist or collective. Videos must be between 1 and 8 minutes. Italian subtitles or an SRT file required for non-Italian language content.
