About the Open Call

The eleventh edition of the Jackson's Art Prize invites artists globally to submit 2D works. The competition features a £6,000 first prize, various material awards, and exhibitions at Bankside Gallery and the Affordable Art Fair. Entries are judged by an expert panel including Deborah Smith, Caroline Walker, and others.

What is Offered

A total of 31 prizes including a £6,000 cash top prize with £2,000 in materials, multiple material awards worth £1,000 each, and exhibition opportunities at Bankside Gallery and the Affordable Art Fair.

Requirements

Works must be 2D (painting, drawing, printmaking). Digital art, pure photography, AI art, and sculptural works are not accepted. Open to all artists worldwide regardless of experience level.

How to Apply

Submit entries through the Jackson's Awards Platform. Entry fees are £5 during the early bird period (12 Nov – 17 Dec) and £6.50 for standard entries (18 Dec – 11 Feb). Students receive one free entry.
