Boise City Department of Arts & History
The residency invites artists to immerse themselves in the historic site where James Castle lived and worked for the last 46 years of his life. Residents will explore the house, its history, and the surrounding landscape, responding through new works. Residents share their creative practice with the community through workshops, open studios, and presentations. Includes private housing, 24-hour studio access, and a $4,000 stipend.

Applicants must be legally able to work in the United States, pass a background check, and be 18 or older.
