About the Open Call

The Jewish Playwrights Programme is a development initiative for early-career and emerging playwrights. Open to Jewish playwrights or those engaging with Jewish themes, the program offers expert guidance from Julia Pascal, one-to-one dramaturgical feedback, and a culminating group industry day where extracts are performed by professional actors. Participants must be UK residents.

What is Offered

Mentorship, one-to-one dramaturgical feedback, group industry day with professional actors, peer feedback sessions.

Requirements

Must be aged 18+, UK resident, emerging or early-career playwright, have a script idea (draft or seed), and be available for all in-person sessions.
