About the Open Call

Journey 27/28 is a production program providing choreographers with studio space, dancers, professional mentoring, and a public premiere stage within the Tanztage Wien festival. The process involves three phases: Research (June 2027), Rehearsal (March 2028), and Premiere (April 2028). Participants receive full production support and professional documentation.

What is Offered

Full production support, access to facilities, rehearsal time with dancers, technical support, stage time at Tanztage Wien, professional video documentation, and an attendance certificate.

Requirements

Open to emerging and established choreographers aged 25+. Proficiency in English is required. Applicants must commit to all three phases, be willing to collaborate with provided dancers, and secure funding for the €3,300 participation fee (excluding travel/accommodation).
