KORDON
We welcome applications from all types of creative practitioners, including visual artists, architects, filmmakers, writers, curators, musicians, performing artists and those working across disciplines or in collaboration. We offer 2 or 4 week residencies. As the space is limited, we select applicants based on an evidence of their professional experience, quality of past work, project idea and compatibility with other residents staying at the same time. The residency house includes large and small studios/bedrooms with private bathrooms and a fully equipped shared kitchen. In the large studio is a screen and a projector. To get around there are bisycles available. Residents can use the garden and the greenhouse and the honey produced by the KORDON bees. There is The Container Gallery as an exhibition and project space which residents can use when there is no other exhibition at the same time. Available dates for October - December, 2025 are: September 28 – October 11 (Large Studio), October 12 – 25 (Large Studio), October 26 – November 8 (Large Studio), December 1 – 14 (Small & Large Studio), December 15– 28 (Small & Large Studio).

Bicycles, garden access, greenhouse access, and honey from KORDON bees are available. Residents may also use The Container Gallery as an exhibition and project space, if available.
Applicants must be creative practitioners including visual artists, architects, filmmakers, writers, curators, musicians, performing artists, or those working across disciplines. Selection is based on evidence of professional experience, quality of past work, project idea, and compatibility with other residents. Successful applicants must pay the residency fee at least two weeks prior to arrival.
Applicants select 2 or 4 weeks and which studio type (large or small) from the available dates. Application requires name, email, phone, country, date of birth, nationality, country of residence, social media, website, chosen residency length, studio preference, partner name (if applicable), preferred dates, medium, short bio (ca 150 words), and project outline (ca 150 words). Applications are selected based on professional experience, quality of past work, project idea, and compatibility with other residents.
