About the Open Call

Asia’s largest contemporary dance platform, KICDC is more than a competition — it is a celebration of artistry, talent, and international exchange. Since 2010, KICDC has brought together dancers from over 10 countries each year, serving as a central stage where emerging artists are recognised and global dance voices converge. Endorsed by the UNESCO International Dance Federation, KICDC combines a world-class solo competition, international workshops, and audition opportunities into a single dynamic festival. Now in its second decade, KICDC continues to thrive, powered by the presence of extraordinary dancers who embody the future of contemporary dance. Offline attendees (semi-finals/finals) may have access to FREE ACCOMMODATION (Optional / first-come, first-served). With a total cash prize of approximately USD 12,000, KICDC rewards not only the brilliance of the stage but also the passion and perseverance that bring movement to life.

What is Offered

Free accommodation for offline semi-finalists (optional, first-come, first-served), a total cash prize of approximately USD 12,000, and free dance workshops for selected international offline participants. Priority registration for the semi-final round.

Requirements

Competition participants must choose to participate ONLINE or OFFLINE during registration.
