About the Open Call

TERAVARNA continues its tradition at the LA Art Show, presenting a juried exhibition at 'The Most Comprehensive International Contemporary Art Show in America'. This prestigious event attracts 70,000 visitors and facilitates significant art sales. The call is open for submissions across various mediums, including painting, sculpture, works on paper, installation, photography, design, video, and performance, on an 'OPEN' theme. Selected works will be showcased at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The LA Art Show is recognized for its diverse cultural influence and expanding collector audience. Through partnership with Artsy, the event and participating artists receive extensive promotion before, during, and after the show, including enhanced viewership and sales inquiries.

What is Offered

Participation at the January 2026 LA Art Show is 100% free for invited participating artists. Selected artists get to showcase their work for free, with no strings attached. Artists will enjoy exposure from a highly publicized event and promoted extensively in local news outlets, media channels, and press events. All winning artists will be provided Certificates of Recognition. Artsy will highlight and promote the event, leading to spikes in viewership and pre-sales inquiry from collectors. Unsold artworks can be shipped back or placed in secured gallery storage.

Requirements

Artwork painted on materials other than stretched canvas will need to be framed. All artworks submitted must be originals only. Limited wall space may lead to restrictions on artwork dimensions.
