Learning Through Making Fund

About the Open Call

The Learning Through Making fund supports UK-based visual art organisations to bring opportunities for making into their work in art education. We are looking to support exploratory projects that embrace openness, collaboration, and iteration, enabling organisations to challenge preconceptions about making and material literacy. This includes action-research projects, workshops, events, or material access improvements. Projects must take place between 1 January and 31 December 2027.

What is Offered

Grants of up to £25,000 for visual art education projects.

Requirements

Applicants must be UK-based visual arts organisations with a charitable purpose and public benefit. Community Interest Companies must meet specific criteria including asset lock provisions and prohibition of dividend payments.
