About the Open Call

The LOEWE FOUNDATION Craft Prize seeks to acknowledge and support international artisans (18+) who demonstrate exceptional ability in creating objects of superior aesthetic value. Entries must be original, handmade or partly handmade, created in the last five years, one-of-a-kind, and previously unawarded. The winner receives a 50,000 euro prize. Shortlisted works will be featured in an exhibition and accompanying catalogue in Europe, spring 2027.

What is Offered

50,000 EUR prize for the winner; inclusion in an exhibition and catalog for finalists.

Requirements

Professional artisans 18 years or older. All nationalities welcome. Entries may be individual or collective. Must demonstrate artistic intent and technical proficiency in applied arts.

How to Apply

Complete the online registration at the official website, including 2 to 5 photographs of the work, an optional video, and a brief conceptual statement.
