MACFEST Muslim Arts Awards & Open Exhibition

About the Open Call

MACFEST and the University of Salford invite UK-based Muslim artists (18+) to submit up to 2 artworks for the 2026 Muslim Arts Awards. The selection process is a two-stage approach: Stage One involves a digital submission via an online form, while Stage Two requires the physical submission of shortlisted artworks to the University of Salford for final exhibition at the New Adelphi Theatre. Winners will be announced at an Arts Awards Gala Dinner in November 2026.

What is Offered

Opportunity to have work featured in a curated exhibition at the University of Salford and compete for category-specific awards and trophies.

Requirements

Applicants must be UK-based Muslim practicing artists aged 18 years or older. All physical submissions must be framed and mirror-plated for wall mounting.
