Museum of Arts and Design
The Artist Studios at MAD is a community engagement and professional development program for contemporary artists and designers. Two artists are selected per six-month session (February–August or August–February). Residents receive studio space, a stipend, and opportunities for interaction with museum visitors. The program supports artists working across craft, design, and visual arts with an emphasis on historic studio craft materials and new technologies.

Applicants must be at least 21 years old, US citizens or legal residents with a valid SSN/EIN, and residents of the NYC metro area. Must have an active practice in applied arts and be ready for public-facing engagement.
