Major Outdoor Art Installation Celebrating 20 Years of Center for the Arts

About the Open Call
The selected work will be a major outdoor installation unveiled in 2027. It must be four-season durable, capable of withstanding mountain weather and heavy snow loads. The display term is expected to be three years (through 2030), though shorter-term or permanent proposals will be considered. Artists are encouraged to include ideas for community engagement or residency programs related to the piece.
What is Offered
A shortlist of finalists will be invited to develop full proposals and will receive a $500 honorarium.
Requirements
Professional artists and multidisciplinary teams with demonstrated experience in outdoor public art are eligible. The installation must be durable for mountain weather and high snow loads.
How to Apply
Artists must submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) through CallForEntry.org (CaFÉ). Do not submit detailed concepts or designs at this stage.
