Center for Urban Pedagogy
CUP's annual program, Making Policy Public, invites advocates, organizers, and graphic designers to collaborate on creating print resources that explain complex policies and systems. Selected projects involve a 7–12 month collaboration. Community organizations receive 1,000 free copies of the finished work, and visual designers receive a $5,000-$8,000 honorarium.
Selected visual designers receive an honorarium of $5,000–$8,000 depending on the project scope, and community organizations receive 1,000 free copies of the final print resource.
Advocates and organizers working directly with communities, and graphic designers and illustrators interested in social justice and community-engaged work.
Applications are submitted via specific Airtable forms for either community organizations or designers provided on the program page.
