About the Open Call

MashUp’s annual International Women’s Day Dance Festival serves to uplift women artists and build community through dance. We are looking for narrative and documentary dance films (both short and feature length) as well as experimental works that uplift female-identifying artists and build community. Submissions must align with our female-identifying or non-binary leadership criteria.

What is Offered

Selected projects will be screened during the official festival film blocks on March 5, 2027.

Requirements

Films must prioritize innovation, collaboration, and inclusion. Submissions must align with female-identifying or non-binary leadership criteria. Music rights and creative permissions must be cleared by the submitter.
