About the Open Call

The Royal Society of Sculptors champions sculpture and the artists who create it. Applications are reviewed anonymously by sculptor Trustees. Prospective members must demonstrate a significant, coherent professional practice in sculpture, high-quality work that adds to the language of sculpture, and a critically engaged practice. Successful applicants join a network for professional support, accreditation (MRSS/FRSS), and exclusive opportunities. Applicants must submit a short CV, artist statement, and up to 12 images without identifying information.

What is Offered

Professional membership, use of MRSS/FRSS accreditation, access to member-only residencies, awards, commissions, workshops, regional networking groups, and exhibition opportunities.

Requirements

Must be an established, national or international, professional sculptor. Students in full-time education are not eligible. Application must be submitted anonymously.

How to Apply

Submit an online application form via the CuratorSpace portal. Ensure all submitted materials (CV, statement, images, file names) are anonymous. Registration on CuratorSpace is required.
