About the Open Call

The Spring Session Micro-Residency at Bischoff Inn offers artists a private guest room that doubles as a workspace. This program is best suited for artists creating small-scale 2D work (drawing, collage), textiles, fashion, or projects completed primarily on a computer. Applicants using wet media (paints, dyes) are not eligible for this session and should apply for the Summer residency instead. The residency requires participation in a studio visit, a house gathering, and a public artist talk.

What is Offered

Private guest room and bathroom, Wi-Fi, climate control, access to shared lounge with kitchenette (fridge, microwave, coffee/tea bar), and community-building events.

Requirements

Artists must bring all desired supplies. Residency fees are $450/week for standard queen rooms or $550/week for the Jr Suite. Must be able to work in a quiet, compact space. No pets. No smoking. No wet media allowed.
