BIG (Butoh International Gathering)
miniBIG is a concentrated, radical exploration of butoh dance held at Schloss Bröllin. The program moves through three phases: Meeting, Training (28 hours total), and Cultivation (collaborative creation). The event is centered on 'wild respect' and 'deep care,' fostering a temporary community where participants share rooms, meals, and daily tasks. It features five invited choreographers: Yumino Seki, Michiyasu Furutani, Tashi Iwaoka, Camilla Giani, and Matilde Javier Ciria.
Full accommodation, all training sessions, three vegetarian/vegan meals per day, and access to all jams and research nights.
Open to all participants regardless of dance experience who are prepared for intensive physical practice. Presence and commitment are essential. Participants must join 'Happy Helping Teams' for basic communal care (cooking/cleaning).
Complete the online registration form at bigbutoh.com/minibig. A 30% inscription fee of the total accommodation price is required to secure a spot, with the remaining balance due before July.
