About the Open Call

Deveron Projects is an international socially-engaged arts organisation, embedded in Huntly, Scotland. In partnership with Mondriaan Fund, the Publics Residency offers a selected artist a 3-month residency to collaborate, experiment, and expand their practice through an intensive period of mutual learning and conversation with others. The residency provides custom-designed accommodation and workspace, connecting artists with the wider arts sector across the UK.

What is Offered

A subsidy of ‘ 8,984 for artists (‘ 6,803 for curators) to cover travel, material, and living costs. Accommodation and workspace costs are covered directly. A small access budget is available for additional support needs.

Requirements

Open to visual artists working in any medium. Experience in socially engaged practice is not essential, but a desire to collaborate is required. Applications must be submitted individually; duos are not eligible.
