About the Open Call

The purpose of artist calls is to showcase brilliant artworks that celebrate Creativity. All visual artists are welcome to submit their original artworks from all over the world, created in 2 and 3-dimensional media, including Painting, Drawing, Illustration, Printmaking, Photography, Sculpture, and Mixed Media. AI created Artworks will not be accepted. Artworks must be original and artists should have all the rights for presenting and publishing them internationally. Artworks that include porn, violence, racial, religious hatred, racism, or sexism are not admissible. Entry fees are non-refundable for Special Competitions, while Monthly Competitions are free. By submitting, the artist declares her/his artwork is not a copy, derivative, or infringement of copyright. The artist is responsible for providing genuine and accurate information and informing Lumen Art Gallery of any changes.

What is Offered

Selected artworks will be exhibited in an international smart online group exhibition organized by Lumen Art Gallery. The exhibition of all winning artists will be showcased for 1 month in the Winner's Gallery, and subsequently as a Past Exhibition linked to the Youtube Channel. Other awards include a life-long permanent link to boost artists' online visibility and SEO, intensive exposure for selected artists to showcase their artworks, getting published in a stylish colorful online exhibition and Youtube Video, as well as posts with the artists' personal links to Social Media Channels. A digital certificate will be issued and sent to all selected artists, categorized as: Masterpiece Laureate Award (3 Artists), Creatio Magna Award (10 Artists), and Emerging Virtuoso Award (15 Artists) for monthly Competitions. Special Competitions have different prizes; please refer to their respective competition announcements.

Requirements

All visual artists creating original artworks in 2 and 3-dimensional media (Painting, Drawing, Illustration, Printmaking, Photography, Sculpture, Mixed Media) are accepted. AI created Artworks will not be accepted. Artworks must be original and created by the participant. Artist should have all the rights for presenting and publishing the artworks internationally. Artworks that include porn, violence, or racial, religious hatred, racism or sexism are not admissible. Artists must provide all necessary information, which should be genuine and accurate, and immediately inform Lumen Art Gallery of any changes in their artistic data.

How to Apply

For submission, use the Submission Form available on the website. Submission must include Artist Data (name, surname, email address, Country of Residence, Website, Social media links) and Artwork Images. Artwork images must be high resolution in JPG or PNG format, not bigger than 2MB. Photos of the artworks must contain all relevant information in the file name, for example: 'Gerd Müller - Monlight Walk- 2025 - Oil on Canvas .jpg'. Photos without this information in the name or incomplete photos will be rejected by the jury.
