About the Open Call

Der Greif invites artists to submit photographic work that operates at the intersection of reality, fable, and belief. The open call seeks submissions ranging from staged cinematic storytelling and surreal dreamscapes to documentary studies of local legends, ancestral altars, and talismanic objects. Selected artists will have their work featured in an online exhibition, participate in a roundtable critique, and gain visibility in an international community.

Requirements

Lens-based artists focusing on themes of myth, folk, superstition, and surrealism. Voluntary donation requested; financial assistance available via email.
