About the Open Call

In 2026, Nectar is thrilled to announce a total of four Family Artist Residency weeks, taking place in the province of Tarragona, Spain. The program provides accommodation, studio space, meals, and creative workshops for children (aged 3 to 15 years old) as well as for adults who wish to participate. While artists focus on their work, their children can explore creativity through activities led by educators and artists. The residency aims to foster new ways of integrating artistic and family life, encouraging a balance between both. The four weeks are organized in two consecutive pairs: June 27 – July 4, July 4 – July 11, July 20 – July 27, and July 27 – August 3 (7 nights / 8 days each). A weekly program includes arrival, welcoming tours, meeting circles, daily breakfast, morning children creative workshops/pool games, community lunch, afternoon working/free time, and dinner. Other events such as outdoor cinema projections, artist studio visits, walks, and games will be organized. What is included: one-week residency for the artists-parents, studio facilities, accommodation (private room per family), food supplies (self-cooked, community-based), children's workshops, swimming pool, other activities, and studio visit. Families participating in two consecutive weeks receive a 10% discount on the total price. The final cost for participants is subsidized by a 30% partial grant.
