Historic England
The Neighbourhood Heritage Grants fund supports communities to use heritage as a way of shaping the future of their local places. Projects must be co-created with communities, particularly those experiencing socio-economic disadvantage, ethnic minority communities, disabled or neurodivergent individuals, and LGBTQ+ communities. Projects should demonstrate a clear place-based focus and connect with heritage that is valued locally, whether designated or not. The program is specifically for new projects and requires active community involvement in decision-making.
21 grants of up to £15,000 each.
Projects must be co-created, focused on communities within IMD1-3 areas, and work with underrepresented groups. The applicant must be a lead organization, but projects can be collaborative.
