New Fellowship Programme to Research the ECF Historical Archives

About the Open Call

The ECF Fellowship aims to foster new research and creative work engaging with the history of the European Cultural Foundation and the broader role of culture in shaping Europe. Fellows are expected to work substantially with the ECF archival holdings. Two fellowships are offered annually: an Academic Research Fellowship (grant of €5,000) and an Artistic Research Fellowship (grant of €10,000). Outcomes must be completed and presented within two years.

What is Offered

Academic Research Fellowship includes a €5,000 grant; Artistic Research Fellowship includes a €10,000 grant; both cover travel, accommodation, and living expenses.

Requirements

Fellows must work substantially with ECF archival holdings. Must be capable of research in English, with significant material also in French, German, and Dutch. Projects must lead to public presentation or publication within two years.
