European Cultural Foundation
Established in 1954, the European Cultural Foundation has played a significant role in promoting cultural exchange and European integration, including contributing to initiatives such as the ERASMUS student mobility programme. Through this fellowship, participants are invited to examine the Foundation's archival collections and reinterpret its history in relation to contemporary social, cultural, and political questions. The Artistic Research Fellowship encourages artists to transform archival research into new creative work, connecting historical materials with present-day perspectives and future imaginaries. Fellows will undertake research at the HAEU in Florence, working within the international academic environment of the European University Institute. Final outcomes must be completed and publicly presented or published within two years of the grant agreement. The programme offers: Academic Research Fellowship: €5,000 to support archival research, travel, accommodation, and living expenses. Artistic Research Fellowship: €10,000 to support research, travel, accommodation, living expenses, and artistic production.
