About the Open Call

This exhibition explores how the age-old practice of landscape art has transformed in contemporary contexts. Artists are invited to submit works in expansive and intimate formats, encouraging bold strokes, novel viewpoints, and rich textures that capture the essence of their experience. The theme includes traditional landscapes, seascapes, and cityscapes where the environment is the primary subject.

What is Offered

$1000 in total cash awards: Gold ($600), Silver ($300), and Bronze ($100). Selected artists receive professional exhibition space, website/social media listing, and press release coverage.

Requirements

Open to artists aged 18 and older. Works must be original, created after February 2023, and not previously exhibited at 3 Square Art Gallery. Artworks must fit through a 6ft x 7ft doorway.

How to Apply

Select the number of images (up to 5) and pay the entry fee on the gallery website. After payment, email artwork images (JPG format, under 5MB) and detailed information (Title, Medium, Dimensions, Year) to submissions@3squareart.com.
