About the Open Call

OTROS is a new Portuguese platform dedicated to dance, arising in Lisbon to encourage contemporary dance research and support new generations of dancers. It aims to preserve dance technique from ephemeral trends, disseminate qualitative practices, and offer a solid, comprehensive training path. The program includes six different workshops between September 2025 and July 2026, led by internationally renowned artists. It provides a space for rigorous exploration, artistic challenge, and personal growth, expanding training boundaries through diverse practices and methodologies.
