About the Open Call
The GlogauAIR on-site residency is located in a historicist building in Kreuzberg, Berlin. The program is designed under the tenets of 'Explore, Create, Exhibit', providing 13 international artists with studios, curatorial guidance, and technical support. Residents participate in a structured program of workshops, individual curator meetings, and field trips to Berlin's institutions and galleries. The residency concludes with an Open Studios event, and artists have the opportunity to exhibit work in the street-facing Showcase Window.
What is Offered
Studio accommodation (750 EUR/month or 950 EUR for duos), Program fee (1,650 EUR/quarter), curatorial support, technical assistance, access to tools and woodworking equipment, participation in Open Studios and Showcase Window, and inclusion in a printed catalogue.
Requirements
The program is open to international artists with diverse social and geographical backgrounds. Participants are expected to pay for accommodation and program fees.
