About the Open Call

Welcome to the 6th edition of Nocefresca's artist residency program on the island of Sardinia, Italy. The residency takes place in Milis, a charming village surrounded by citrus groves, nestled at the foot of the Montiferru mountain range and just 19 km from the stunning beaches of Sardinia’s west coast. The program aims to foster a lasting community of artists who are deeply connected to nature, rural life, and meaningful human relationships, offering time and space to focus on creative practice and connect with fellow artists in an inspiring Mediterranean setting. There are 42 available places for the 2026 edition.

What is Offered

Participation in the Nocefresca artist residency program in Sardinia, Italy. The program provides time and space for creative practice, community building, and connection with fellow artists in a Mediterranean setting. It includes housing, studio space, access to equipment and gears, and other facilities and additional services.
