Open Call 2027 – Urban Ecologies: Coexistence and Control

About the Open Call

Lendhauer invites artists, designers, architects, performers, theorists, and interdisciplinary practitioners to explore urban spaces as networks of diverse relationships between human and non-human actors. The projects should address the theme of 'Urban Ecologies: Coexistence and Control' within the Lendhafen area in Klagenfurt, specifically engaging with the social, ecological, and material conditions of the public space.

What is Offered

Funding includes production costs up to 4,000 EUR, an artist fee of up to 2,500 EUR, and travel expenses up to 1,000 EUR.

Requirements

Applicants can be individuals or collectives from Austria or abroad. Submissions must address the theme and the site-specific context of Lendhafen.
