About the Open Call

APOSTAXIS brings together 3 artists from Ukraine and 1 from Cyprus to foster cross-border exchanges through 20-day joint residencies, co-creation workshops, and exhibitions. We are looking for visual artists with participatory practices and experience in research-based or community-engaged practice to explore displacement through archive or live witnessing, documentation, or non-fiction storytelling.

What is Offered

Artist Fee of €1800, production budget of €300, plus travel, accommodation, and subsistence support.

Requirements

4 visual artists: 3 Ukrainian and 1 Cypriot (all communities) with lived experience or heritage of displacement. Experience in research-based or community-engaged practice is expected.
