After the Single Use (ATSU)
As part of After the Single Use (ATSU), eight artists will be selected to join local research teams for a residency period between March-May 2027. This is a research-embedded residency focused on curiosity, exchange, and process. Artists are not expected to illustrate the research but to observe, question, and respond to the project's exploration of single-use medical plastics. The residency offers an artist fee and materials budget, with residency formats ranging from one month full-time to three months part-time.
Artist fee and materials budget provided, along with access to research teams and an international online exhibition.
Artists from any creative background are welcome. Candidates should be self-directed, comfortable in unfamiliar environments, and interested in engaging with the research process. Local or in-country applicants are given priority.
Applicants must review the location-specific PDFs provided on the website and submit their application through the designated Wufoo form.
