About the Open Call

The Photographers’ Gallery, in partnership with The Ampersand Foundation, invites applications for a two-month residency at Wigwell Lodge. The residency supports artists working with expanded photography and digital practices to explore themes including image-making, institutional archives, computational culture, and AI world models. The residency includes a £1000/month stipend, a £1000 production budget, and up to £500 for travel. Applicants must be over 18 and have the legal right to work in the UK.

What is Offered

Two-month accommodation and studio space, £1000 stipend per month, £1000 production budget, up to £500 travel support, curatorial and administrative support, and potential for a project or commission in 2027/2028.
