About the Open Call
Designers in Residence Kortrijk is a 3-month intensive residency from 7 September to 5 December 2026. Seeking 3 designers/makers to develop experimental projects exploring technology as a critical and cultural starting point. Selected residents receive a fee, travel reimbursement, and studio space, culminating in a presentation at the WONDER Festival and Mutation Festival.
What is Offered
Reimbursement of travel expenses, accommodation, fee, expertise and practical support, access to NERDLAB (Ghent) and Budalab (Kortrijk), and presentation opportunities at WONDER Festival and Mutation Festival.
Requirements
Recently graduated, team player, manual skills (conceptual, craft, production, fabrication).
