This residency invites artists to engage with depression as a societal phenomenon shaped by environmental factors. The selected artist will work with the Digital Health Unit and EU Policy Lab in Ispra, Italy (minimum 20 days on-site). The program offers €15,000 to cover all costs including fees, allowance, and travel. Applicants must have lived experience of depression (direct or as a caregiver).

Applicants of any artistic discipline are eligible provided they are legally able to work in the EU. Mandatory requirement: Lived experience of depression (direct personal experience or caregiving). Must demonstrate ability to work with complex/sensitive themes and interest in scientific research.
