About the Open Call

The Rose Choreographic School is an experimental research and pedagogy project focusing on the 'choreographic'—a postdisciplinary approach to systems of movement. The school invites 9 artists to join a 2-year cycle (April 2027–March 2029). The program provides a £15,000 research budget, studio access, mentoring, and production support. Applicants do not need to identify as artists or choreographers; the opportunity is open to anyone conducting research into the choreographic. Attendance at in-person Cohort Assemblies in London is required, though travel and accommodation are covered by the School.

What is Offered

£15,000 research budget, access to studio space at Sadler's Wells East, mentoring, production support, and travel/accommodation for Cohort Assemblies.

Requirements

Applicants must be over 18, not currently in full-time education, and able to attend the in-person Cohort Assemblies in London. Research must be self-directed.
