Open Call for Dance Artists

About the Open Call

Trinity Laban is commissioning a contemporary dance work for young audiences. The successful artist will collaborate with third-year BA (Hons) Contemporary Dance students over a five-week period (January 5 to February 5, 2027) to create a 15-20 minute piece. The project includes school visits to engage with pupils and a tour of local primary schools. Applicants must be over 21, able to work in the UK, and registered as self-employed with a UTR number.

What is Offered

Commission of £3750, costume and production support.

Requirements

Artists must be over the age of 21, able to work in the UK, and registered as self-employed with a UTR number. Applicants should have a track record of creating work for children and experience teaching in Higher Education.
