About the Open Call

The festival curator's central responsibility is the development of the curatorial concept and programme for the next edition of the festival in 2028. The position requires comprehensive knowledge of international contemporary and media art, experience in fundraising, and strong communication skills. The role involves managing program content, representing the festival, and collaborating with the festival team. Compensation is 40.000€ net for individuals or 50.000€ net for groups.

Freelance contract for festival curation including 40.000€ net (individual) or 50.000€ net (group) compensation.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience in programme development, strong curatorial vision, experience in fundraising, fluency in English or German, and availability to relocate to Berlin by October/November 2027.
