Wrocław Institute of Culture

The residency focuses on the visibility of minorities, migration, and memory of place, specifically within the Korean community in Wrocław. Artists will work in urban contexts and spaces visited daily by the Korean community, focusing on building relationships and co-creating new work. The residency culminates in a public presentation developed with a curator.
€1,200 remuneration, up to €1,000 production budget, up to €1,000 travel expenses, and accommodation in a residential apartment.
Advanced English language skills; open to artists working with photography, multimedia, or interdisciplinary arts who are interested in social art and collaborative practices.
Send an email to airwro@instytutkultury.pl with the subject line 'OPEN CALL MAGIC CARPETS 2026' containing a CV, portfolio, and a cover letter briefly describing your idea for the residency and interest in Korean culture.
