OPEN CALL for MOVIDA Labs on Dance & Technology

About the Open Call

MOVIDA (Movement and Virtual Intelligence for the Development and Accessibility of Artists and Audiences) is a 3-year project. The 4 Labs, each 9 days long, will take place between December 2026 and February 2027 in Romania, Estonia, Germany, and Portugal. The labs focus on AI, accessibility, robotics, and mental health within dance practice. Participants receive a fee, production budget, and travel/accommodation support.

What is Offered

Travel/accommodation, a fee of €1.200 per artist, production budget of up to €500 per duo, masterclasses, studio access, and networking opportunities.

Requirements

Applicants must apply as a duo. Both applicants must be resident in Europe (EU or Creative Europe eligible countries). Must demonstrate capabilities in developing and integrating technology in dance practice.
