About the Open Call

Manchester Music City, supported by Manchester City Council and the Greater Manchester Combined Authority, is offering micro-grants for international music activity taking place between October 2026 and March 2027. The program aims to support attendance at international industry events, market exploration, and partnerships. Successful applicants receive up to £2,500 in funding plus optional one-to-one wraparound support. Participants must commit to a planning session, post-trip evaluation, and a 12-month follow-up reflection.

Requirements

Applicants must be independent music professionals or small businesses (fewer than 10 employees) based in Greater Manchester. This includes freelancers, sole traders, record labels, and not-for-profit organizations. Activity must be international and take place between October 2026 and March 2027.
