Open Call: International Contemporary Dance Residency – Skopje Dance Theater New Production

About the Open Call

The residency, funded by the Culture Moves Europe Residency Host Programme, supports 5 international dance artists through a 40-day intensive program (22 March – 30 April 2027) featuring mentorship from Risima Risimkin, Adrijana Danchevska Rovchanin, and Dejan Bitrovski. Participants will engage in daily studio work and movement research leading to a new contemporary dance presentation in connection with Dance Fest Skopje 2027.

What is Offered

Selected residents receive accommodation, studio access, artistic mentorship, production support, and access to all Dance Fest 2027 events. The program includes a 30€ daily allowance and 400€ travel support based on Culture Moves Europe guidelines.

Requirements

Applicants must be professional dance artists legally residing in a Creative Europe country outside of North Macedonia. Must be available for the full residency period from 22 March to 30 April 2027.
