Plicnik Space Initiative
Applications for Plicnik Crit Sessions 2026 are now open. London-based artists are invited to take part in a new round of peer-led critique sessions hosted at Plicnik Space Initiative. You have until 7 December to apply. Plicnik Space Initiative is hosting weekly critique sessions from 17 January to 21 February 2026. A small group of applicants will be invited to present their work and deliver critique once a week in a professional environment. These sessions are designed to support growth and critical dialogue among practicing artists that are not currently studying and are actively engaged in their careers. This platform is aimed at artists seeking to refine their work and build connections with peers in a professional context. During the sessions you are given time to present a project you are working on, or your practice in general to the group. Afterwards the group will respond with critical feedback. As a participant you will present once during the sessions and participate in all the other participants' feedback rounds. The sessions will take place on: 17 January, 24 January, 31 January, 7 February, 14 February, 21 February (all Saturdays). All sessions will be held in person at Plicnik Space Initiative, Enclave 9, 50 Resolution Way, SE8 4AL. Each session starts at 14:00 and runs until 18:00. Participants are expected to arrive on time, before the session starts. We understand that you might miss a session due to unforeseen circumstances, but we expect you to be there; please only apply if you are available for all sessions. Artists who are not currently studying, are actively practicing, and are based in/around London. Applicants should demonstrate engagement with London, national, or global art scenes, past exhibition experience, an understanding of their position within the field, and a commitment to support the group. Availability for all Saturday sessions from January 17 to February 21, 2026, is expected.
