About the Open Call

Gallery NAT invites artists to submit to 'The Lost Vision – 2025 London Contemporary Art Review Exhibition.' The jury will select award winners within 8 working days after the final registration deadline. Award certificates will be issued, and winners will be featured in mainstream and art media in the UK, US, Europe, and other regions, showcasing their honors and artworks. Winners of the Best Exhibition Grand Prize and the Gold Award may have the opportunity to be represented by Gallery NAT, host a solo exhibition, or be invited to join the Academic Committee. If any awarded works are collected by other entities during the competition and exhibition period, the entire commission for these works will go to the artist. The exhibition will also have an online component available from July 15, 2025, to August 15, 2025. Judging criteria include theme relevance, creativity, technical proficiency, emotional and intellectual depth, visual impact, diversity of creativity and use of materials, interactivity, cultural and social reflection, display and presentation, and international perspective and diversity.

Requirements

Entries must align with the competition theme ('The Lost Vision') and media requirements. Accepted media include oil, acrylic, watercolor, gouache, ink, mixed media, printmaking, photography, video, sculpture, installation, ceramics, fiber art, collage, digital art, and land art. Explicit content (pornography, gambling, drugs, blasphemy, provocative political themes) is not accepted. All submitted works must be entirely original, no replicas or plagiarism. Open to artists aged 18 and above from around the world with an international perspective. Submission files must be JPG format, not exceeding 5MB per file, professionally presented (cropped, no frames/watermarks). Each submitted work must be an original or previously sold original, preferably completed within the last six years. Each artist may submit 1 to 5 artworks.

How to Apply

Artists must submit 1 to 5 artworks. The total submission fee is £33, payable via PayPal to gallerynatlondon@outlook.com. After payment, send a screenshot of the payment receipt along with artwork submission details to gallerynatlondon@outlook.com. The email subject line should be: XX Artist — Submission for 'The Lost Vision – 2025 London Contemporary Art Review Exhibition.' Email content should include clear JPG or PNG images (max 5MB per file, professionally presented, no frames/watermarks), a brief personal artist bio, and an artwork statement. For video/time-based media, include high-resolution screenshots and a video link. For each piece, provide: title, dimensions, year of creation, artist’s name, materials used, and sale price (if applicable).
