Purple Window Gallery
Purple Window Gallery is excited to share an open call for works relating to censorship. Have you ever had your art taken down from a social media platform such as Instagram or Tiktok for "violating community guidelines?" Things that are often censored are the nude human form, anything deemed "sexually explicit," or certain political opinions even when expressed through art. This show aims to give artists a platform to uplift work that has been suppressed by this type of censorship. Curated by Spenser Bower. Dates to Note: Submission Deadline: Friday, November 30th Exhibition: January 9th - January 31st, 2026 Guidelines: 1. Work should not exceed 48" in any direction 2. Artists can submit up to 5 artworks
