About the Open Call
The 'We Come in Pieces' program invites artists to explore the concept of the Alien as a method for estrangement and shifting perspective. Prospect Art seeks research-based and conceptually driven proposals that question human-centered narratives through speculative, poetic, political, ecological, technological, historical, or interdisciplinary approaches. One artist will receive a $1,500 commission for a new project, while others may be selected for the ONE WORK online feature or the BROADCAST program.
What is Offered
$1,500 grant for NEW WORK recipient; $125 screening/speaking fee for BROADCAST events; online features and promotion.
Requirements
Open to professional visual artists working in any medium. Not open to current undergraduate or graduate students. Must have a PayPal account to receive funds.
How to Apply
Submit via the official Google Form provided on the website. Pay the $10 administrative fee via PayPal and include the transaction ID in the form.
