About the Open Call
Textile Arts Center’s Work in Progress (TAC WIP) is a window into the studio practice of contemporary artists and designers that engages the public in a dialogue with the field of textiles. For one month, WIP residents develop and showcase their work and practice in TAC’s Brooklyn studio. The residency provides a personal studio space (roughly 7 x 6 ft), 24hr access to the studio, and 30% off adult classes. Participants are required to host an event, lecture, or workshop related to their practice.
What is Offered
One-month subsidized residency with studio space, 24hr access, and promotion.
Requirements
Applicants must be artists or designers working in the field of textiles. Late applications are not accepted.
