Kyoto Art Center
The program selects one artist or artist group for a residency of up to 3 months. Support includes accommodation, studio space at Kyoto Art Center, round-trip airfare, a subsidy of 200,000 yen per production, PR cooperation, and assistance from art coordinators. Eligible candidates are emerging artists or researchers in the performing arts with a clear purpose for their stay, ability to implement exchange projects with the public, and proficiency in English or Japanese.
